Cerebral Aneurysm - A Natural Killer ?

Aneurysm occurrence seem to depend on the WSS (Wall Shear Stress) gradients (variation in the surface forces on the arteries caused by blood flow). The internal carotid artery becomes more U-shaped with rising age, at about 40s and 50s the shape will become distorted enough for the gradients suitable enough for the development of aneurysms.

Can Spiritualism lead to Rural uplift ?

The main things needed for the lifting of any society are the following (i feel):

1.)Science / Knowledge
2.)Values (ethical & moral)
3.)Monetary / Trade

these 3 are interrelated and any development (true) cannot progress without these. But how are these taught, in a institution; are they really taught?

I feel they are, through the spiritualism, the prayer and worship of God and fellow human being and the tendency to ask for what you desire.

Spiritualism sets the passion through the strong hold beliefs which it can bring about to any one.

Therefore, my opinion is if, we could take this spiritualism to the rural or a under-privileged society we can also bring about a desire (a burning desire) to them and thereby result in a better upliftment in the above.

Trip to Thalavadi, Chikali & Palayam (29/4 to 2/5)

After the D-slot CFD, i rushed to my room to wash and pack my clothes, running with the bucket i somehow managed to pack enough clean clothes for the trip by 6pm, then had a good dinner at the Tiffanys and then i left for the insti bus, lucky by chance i happened to meet one of my friend Venkatesh on the way, when i enquired him about the buses to CMBT, he asked me to take a bus that goes by ECR to CMBT direct, he also informed me that it would take 2+ hours for other buses and just a hour or so for these buses, lucky i knew it else i wouldn't have amde it in time for the Sathy(sathyamangalam) bus in CMBT. Did as he said, i was there by 8:30pm, there awaiting me in the right time was a direct bus to Sathy, if i had missed it would have to go by Erode to Sathy. A good and comfortable AC bus, with a freshie from SRM to my left and some chatters by the right, my travel companion was from Sathy so, i had a good enquiry from him about how to reach Thalavadi from Sathy. The bus dropped me at Sathy around 6:30 am the next day, as soon as i reached Sathy a bus through Thalavadi was waiting for me to board in, i got in and found a place near the standees in a 3-seat row. Curious about finding more about the place, i was starring through the window to know better, a amazing view slowly and steadily we were passing through bridges, trucks and cliffs, raising the hill steadily for about an hour or so, passing through each and every villages in the way, filled with mountain horses and a variety of birds. Finally, i reached Thalavadi around 8:30 am, i took my cell out in order to call my contact in Thalavadi Mr. Srinivas, a black-out no connection(!), and there was no tower for Airtel over there my cell became useless for around the next two days. I used a public phone and called upon Mr, Srinivas and soon found him, he took me to a place for my breakfast, it wasn't that bad the quality and cost were comparable to that of our campus cafe. Then, i met Mr. Kumaraswamy, a staff from MYRADA under whom the watershed programme at Chikili put up a Solar fence, he took me to the areas where the fencing was done and gave me details on how they went about doing it. Later, we also met the villagers who were involved in the programme, who were the ones to decide upon the type of fence. After, having an interview with them, i left to MYRADA HQ in Thalamalai, a simple word to put in is its a boot bungalow, its almost deserted and less frequently its being used nowadays, since its far away from the locals at Thalavadi and Chikili, they have also built a office in Thalavadi so that its more easy to access the villagers from their, and hence this office built on 1978 is being less used. But, i had good restrooms, i stayed there for a while to get a bath and then i moved from there to meet the forest officials at Chikali, but at loss, when i went there the ranger was no where to be found, we took in his number and then left to the MYRADA sub-office, then we had a good meal and contacted VS Subramaniam (forest ranger) and fixed an appointment with him the next day 10 to 11 am. The same day Mr. Srinivas and other MYRADA staff left for a trip Dharmasala to make use of their holidays. I was left alone in Thalavadi but, i had the privilege to stay in their sub-office (though alone), and the street was a main road of Thalavadi, but with no street lamps, i felt as i walked along the road to MYRADA it would be nice to make up a new story 'A night at the Thalavadi main-road'. The next day i left for Chikali, after my BF at Sathy. But, sadly the ranger was not there until 12:30 pm until when i was left alone stranded in the building. Later, i met him through his busy schedule of tackling forest problems, distributing salary, and clearing bills. He managed to spend some time for my project and later, he allotted one of his forest gaurd Mr. Raghu, to guide me to Palayam to visit the elephant damage to their solar fences. Then, we departed to Palayam, having just a biscuit packet as my meal for the afternoon. Raghu took me to the border of the forest and village and showed me good view of the damages made to the fences by elephants, that area gets around 2,000 elephants between January to March every year. The locals use the forest area for grazing about 300 cows but, they also complain when the forest animals come to them for food. I scanned the whole area and took a good picture of the damage and the fields. Then, Raghu took me to the temple of Kongakalli, feminists won't like this, but the temple is banned for all females including a just born. After a good prayer, i left from Palayam, taking a bus to Sathy, the horrible ride, nothing because of journey but, because of my hungry stomach that didn't have a proper meal. I decided to have a hearty dinner at Sathy, dropping from 2km above sea-level i reached Sathy at 8:30 pm, the bus from Sathy to Chennai had just now left when i reached, so now i had to go to Erode to take a Chennai bus. I took a good dinner in a delicious NV cuisine. Then, i left to Erode and reached there around 11 pm, and took in a bus from there to Chennai, enjoying a good trip and good village.

Paper conservation

Hi,
I would tell here about paper conservation tactics that was done by my team in Shaastra-2009.

1.)Use font size 10 always (its clear and legible)
2.)Avoid having unnecessary tab spaces and instead have a table to avoid these spaces.
3.)Try using A5 instead of A4 (a different orientation of paper will optimise the space saved).
4.)Reduce margins as much as possible.
5.)Use left over one-side printed sheets for rough use.
